We are a small family run business providing high quality accommodation, located in beautiful rural Staffordshire country side, reached by a lengthy farm drive making us very private. We are a grade II listed farmhouse dating back to the late 1700's. It has been sympathetically and lovingly renovated retaining many original features. Set within it’s own garden, Blythe Farmhouse is located on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands it is an ideal base if visiting friends in the area or to explore the Peak District and North Wales. Historic houses and gardens like Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall are all within a short scenic drive. A superb location for walking, there are six footpaths on the door step. For the more accomplished walker the hills and valleys of the Moorlands or the unspoilt villages of the Derbyshire Peaks e.g. Hartington, Moneyash and Bakewell are all waiting to be explored.

Endless excellent cycle tracks ( Cycle hire available) some of which are on disused railway tracks Tissington, Manifold Valley there really is something for everyone, what ever your level of ability. Alton Towers theme park with its thrill rides for the young at heart and it’s beautiful gardens for the more gentle moments.

For antique hunters the market towns of Leek and Ashbourne are a must.   
Uttoxeter's famous race course guarantees a great day out and only a few miles away.
Steam railways, Foxfield and the Churnet valley are an idyllic way to see the superb country side with out the strain of walking or cycling. The tram museum at Crich is also well worth a visit.
For the young at heart Splash Landings and Water World both indoor swimming pool are great fun days out.
The only draw back to the area is there is so much to see and do you may need a holiday after to recover!!
